🎨 Melisa Ferriola: The Journey of a Permanent Makeup Pioneer 🖋️

Melisa Ferriola’s career began by blending art and science at Pennsylvania State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Arts and Science with an emphasis in theatre. Her passion for transformation saw her studying and applying stage and special effects make-up for the university theatre company.

After graduation, Melisa honed her skills as a freelance make-up artist for a theatre company in Santa Barbara, CA.

Launching Lasting Looks and The Academy

In 2006, Melisa leveraged her artistic expertise to found Lasting Looks, focusing on the specialized field of permanent cosmetics.

With over 11 years of extensive training and experience, Melisa took her commitment to the industry a step further. She opened The Academy at Lasting Looks to provide comprehensive, fundamental education in permanent makeup. It stands as the only school of its kind authorized by the Delaware Department of Education.
