Meet Vann and Kevin, the powerful duo behind Organic Skin Studio—a partnership built on love, complementary expertise, and deep purpose. Both are first-generation UC Davis graduates from Sacramento and now reside in Elk Grove with their daughter and two rescue dogs.

The synergy of their skills is the foundation of the studio’s success:

• Kevin, an analytical pharmaceutical engineer, ensures meticulous attention to detail and well-thought-out delivery across all studio projects.
• Vann, a Physician Assistant with a medical background, brings clinical insight and a profound understanding of patient challenges.

Vann’s experience, particularly witnessing the profound impact a cancer diagnosis has on a patient’s self-esteem and self-care, shaped their mission. Physical changes from treatments—such as hair loss and changes in skin texture—significantly influence well-being. This perspective was deeply reinforced by Vann’s aunt, who was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma last year.

This experience directly fueled the creation of GloWell, their plant-based, medical-grade skincare line designed to be safe for cancer patients yet powerful for everyday use. It also motivated a commitment to community support, exemplified by their offering of free facials for cancer patients and survivors in October 2023 for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
